Friday was a gloriously sunny day, fresh, sparkling and crisp, a perfect autumn day. My walk in the parks was a treat.

the birds joyously surging above the water
Magnificent autumn colours
On days like this what I love best is looking up at the branches of the trees
against the blue of the sky.
It's the small pleasures in life...
